January 15, 2023/Birthday Season

 Hello Internet,

It is what I call "Birthday Season" around my house.  Every year, near the end of January, we have a bunch of birthdays clustered together.  Squirrel's birthday is the 21st, mine is the 23rd, and Noodles is the 30th.  For the longest time, Monkey's birthday was isolated in August, but now Kangaroo's birthday is only about six days after.

For us, the holiday season begins in August and carries on into January.

Every birthday, we let the kids pick their main course and dessert.  Squirrel wants spaghetti, salad, and I would assume garlic bread, though they have not stated as much.  They also want apple pie and ice cream. Noodle hasn't told me what she wants yet, and since mine is in between, I usually just get a little something for myself--Casey's pizza.
